Radford Harrell launched TalentSoup, a web-based talent database, in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia. The company was formed as a way to help his wife Emily organize years worth of talent bios she had accumulated through her business Stir Productions. Stir Productions manages and organizes commercial photo shoots across the nation and helps match the right talent with companies looking for models. Through her business, Emily had accumulated hundreds of talent bios and needed a better way to organize all of the information. The TalentSoup site was a perfect solution and collects profiles from professional models and actors as well real people looking to land modeling and acting jobs.
In 2009, the Harrell’s moved both businesses from Atlanta to Savannah because of the creative community in the coastal Georgia area. The Creative Coast, a non-profit organization in Savannah that helps stimulate economic growth, employment and business development, rolled out the red carpet for the Harrell’s and showed them all Savannah had to offer. In terms of doing business and raising a family, nothing really compared to Savannah. Since relocating to Savannah, the TalentSoup site has evolved into a self-service hub allowing talent and agents to post photos, videos and resumes while also allowing companies to set parameters and search for the perfect talent to meet their advertising needs.
For more information, check out the TalentSoup website at www.talentsoup.com. Anyone can set up a profile on the website – professional models, amateurs, all ethnicities, old and young alike. If you’re looking for a specific model to meet your companies advertising needs contact TalentSoup at 877-775-SOUP or by email at email@example.com.
